Pippa is a sweet, sweet 22 week old puppy who was presented today with a severe parasite burden that was neglected until she was on deaths doorstep. Internal parasites are typically a fairly simple treatment. However, if left untreated, can wreak havoc on a puppy's body, and eventually lead to death. Pippa was sadly neglected until she became so ill that she became hypoglycemic, suffered from a seizure, and became unresponsive. She is now fighting for her life in the ICU. We were able to take her as an owner surrender, however she will require multiple days of supportive care, diagnostics, and treatments. We hope to do everything we can to help Pippa pull through, however, we can't do it by ourselves.
