My sweet dog Pippa—my constant companion, my furry soulmate, and the joy of my life—has been through a lot recently. On April 3rd, she underwent major surgery to remove a cancerous lump from her chest. Thankfully, the operation was a success and she’s now cancer-free, something I’m endlessly grateful for. The total cost of that surgery came to $4,687.69.

Just when I thought we were through the worst of it, Pippa was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis, a serious condition that makes it difficult for her to breathe—especially in warmer weather or when she gets excited. It’s heartbreaking to watch her struggle for air just from walking or laying down quietly.

She now urgently needs laryngeal tie-back surgery, which will allow her to breathe comfortably again and enjoy the simple pleasures she loves—walks, playtime, and snuggles. The estimated cost for this procedure and related care is around $5,232.
