Pipo is a 10-month-old puppy from Brazil who has already faced more than any dog should. He was hit by a car who drove away from the scene, and left him stranded, after being rescued from the street, he was determined homeless with nowhere to go, and was also diagnosed with distemper, a serious viral disease. Unfortunately the area that he currently is, has no shelter anywhere close and he is too sick and in too much pain to travel far at the moment, there is no RSPCA equivalent, and he has no insurance as has no owner.
He’s currently fighting bravely — but one of his front legs is completely fractured, and there’s a possible fracture in his back legs too. He urgently needs surgery, more X-rays, and ongoing treatment to give him a real chance to walk and live without pain.
So far, around £250 (R$1,700) has already been spent on his first treatments and exams. The upcoming surgery, hospitalisation, medication, and care are expected to cost about £800 in total.
Every donation will go directly towards:
Surgery and X-rays
Hospitalisation and medications
Treatment for distemper
Vaccines and physiotherapy
Shelter and recovery costs
We’ll be completely transparent and share every update and proof of expenses along the way.
Pipo is a gentle soul who just wants to stand, play, and be loved again. Your help — big or small — can change his story.
Please help Pipo walk again.
Thank you so much,
Helena
