Hi!, my name is Natalie and I’m raising funds to help a rescued duck named Pipiu get the care and safe future he deserves.

Pipiú is only 8 months old. His entire family was killed, and he was left completely alone. Because he was so lonely and vulnerable, I took him into a safe space inside my home, where I built a small shelter for him and cared for him day and night until he was strong enough to return to the lake.

Unfortunately, about a month later, Pipiú contracted a bacterial infection from the lake, which caused neurological issues affecting his neck. Since then, I have paid out of pocket for everything he needed, including:

• A small pool

• Vitamins and medication

• Special food

• A safe shelter at my house

• Treatment to fight the bacteria he contracted

With constant care and love, Pipiu has improved a lot, but he can no longer live safely in a regular lake. Due to his neurological condition, he could drown, be attacked, or suffer further complications.

Pipiú also has a possible wing injury that needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian.

The best and safest option for him is to move to a specialized sanctuary in Tampa that cares for ducks with special needs like his. I truly believe he will be happier there, surrounded by other ducks and professionals who can protect him long-term.

The transport alone costs $150, and I am asking for $500 total to help cover:

• Safe transport to the sanctuary

• Veterinary evaluation (including his wing)

• Continued vitamins and supportive care

I’ve already done everything I can on my own, and now I’m asking for help little by little, anything truly helps. Even sharing Pipiú’s story makes a difference.

Pipiu is incredibly gentle and loving. He loves humans, dogs, and other ducks, and he deserves a better quality of life in a place where he can be safe and happy.
