Hello! Our daughter, Piper(3 months), has been admitted to Geisinger due to breathing complications, feeding issues, weightloss, and just an overall failure to thrive. This came after we’ve traveled all over to see so many specialists and undergoing a handful of procedures since her birth. While being admitted, she’s had to endure even more testing, specialists, and procedures, one of which was a scope of her airway. This resulted in them finding she has severe Laryngomalacia (basically obstruction of the airways) in which she will now have to undergo reconstructive surgery. Due to other symptoms she’s experiencing, they believe she could also have something wrong with her brain. They’ll be doing a brain scan on her, and may potentially have more surgeries ahead of us.

We believed all of her issues were due to bad reflux. So this obviously is all very unexpected and a major shock to us. We’re having to take off of work, and not sure how long our stay in the hospital will be. With that being said, we are asking for any support for our family financially in our time of need. Anything would be greatly appreciated!
