Piper was abandoned in a trash can in a park, a bag of trash placed on top of her. My wife and I adopted her, and she quickly became a beloved part of our family. A few months after bringing her home, we noticed she started bumping into things at night. Her eyes grew cloudy, and she began to lose her sight rapidly. We took her to the vet, and even though they estimate her age to be between 5 and 6, she has cataracts most likely due to poor diet as a puppy. The surgery to correct her vision is available, but it is expensive.
The funds raised will be used for Piper's cataract surgery, which will help restore her sight and give her the chance to live a full, happy life. We are covering her spaying and microchipping ourselves, but the surgery is more than we can manage alone. Piper is a spunky, cute, determined little dog who deserves the best life possible. She gives out so much love and light to everyone she meets, and we believe that restoring her sight will help her continue to share that joy with the world.
We are so grateful for any support you can offer to help Piper see again. Thank you for reading her story and for considering a donation to her surgery. Your kindness means everything to us and to Piper.
