Piper has been my best friend since she was just 12 weeks old. She’s now 5½ and truly my everything… my adventure buddy, my emotional support, my family.
Recently, Piper tore her right CCL (like an ACL in humans) and needs surgery to fix her knee. Watching her limp around daily breaks my heart. The longer she compensates, the more it’s starting to affect her other leg. I’ve had to postpone her surgery twice; first from October 30th to November 20th… and I’m heartbroken that I might have to delay it again because I just can’t afford it on my own.
Piper is a happy, gentle soul who loves everyone… people, dogs, anyone who crosses her path. She’s my water baby who loves swimming, fishing, and going on boat trips… but now, she is limited on what she can do and sometimes can’t apply any pressure on her right leg at all.
She’s been with me through everything… she’s saved me emotionally, and now I just want to be able to save her. ❤️
I’m doing everything I can, but her surgery costs $6,000. Every single dollar helps us get one step closer to seeing her run, swim, and enjoy life again.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, or for donating… it truly means the world to both of us.
Help Piper get back on her paws!
