Piper is my 6-month-old bird, and he means the world to me. I got him just a couple of months ago, and he quickly became my best friend—he sits on my shoulder every day and whistles in my ear. Piper is the sweetest bird I’ve ever met, and his personality brings so much joy to my life. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him, and I just want to see him come home healthy and happy.

A few days ago, Piper stopped singing and started sleeping more, so we took him to the vet. After trying several medications and treatments that haven’t worked, the vets discovered he has a severe crop infection. Now, he needs surgery today and is currently at a vet hospital in Chicago. The funds raised will help cover the cost of his surgery, medication, and his overnight and multi-day hospital stay.
