I need your help. I find it very hard to ask for your help, however I feel I have no other choice.
Many of you who know me are aware that I’m in Australia on a Student Visa. I’ve recently applied to extend my Visa to continue study. Unfortunately my application has been rejected and I have now got 30 days to leave Australia.
I’ve been talking to my Immigration Lawyer and I still have a chance to overcome this issue by lodging an appeal to this decision. I have got 10 days to lodge this appeal and it is costing me funds that I currently don’t have.
The cost of the appeal itself is $1857 plus cost of Lawyer fees for this are $660. To Lodge it and write a submission (which might help with permanent residency in the future) will cost $1760 . In total the costs are therefore $2517 / $3617
After spending close to $5000 for recent visa application (visa, health cover and school fees) that has now been rejected, I am left with no money.
This is why I thought a chance could be to reach out to seek assistance from you as a last resort. Any dollar counts.
Australia is my home and people in here are very close to my heart. I feel scared and sad thinking that I will have to leave. It is also very hard for me to ask for money and it took me a whole day, feeling ashamed until I finally started to wright this.
