In September 2024, my family and I rescued and adopted a stray cat who had an injured toe and a bruised nose. From the moment we brought him home, we fell in love with his calm, comforting personality. My siblings named him Pinto, and he quickly became part of our family. He’s a sweet, playful cat who loves to run around and make us laugh.

Recently, Pinto became very sick and started throwing up, so we rushed him to the vet. After an X-ray, the doctors told us that a foreign object is blocking his intestine and that he needs emergency surgery to survive. Unfortunately, the emergency visit and surgery are not covered by his insurance, and the total cost is around $7,000.

This expense is more than we can handle on our own, especially since the insurance did not cover anything. Pinto means the world to us, and we are doing everything we can to help him recover.
