help Pinotte make fetch happen (again)

Hi my name is Lauren, and I live in Paris with my (almost) 1 year old cat Pinotte. Pinotte is a very special lady, a mix between maine coon and bengal, she has 2 extra toes on each foot and a goofy, affectionate personality. A talkative lady, she is a master of playing fetch (really !!!) and knowing, down to the minute, when dinner should be served.

Sunday, July 24th Pinotte fell from our 6th floor balcony while I was out of the country to visit my family in Massachusetts USA. My cat sitter and some very wonderful and dedicated friends rushed her to the local animal hospital where she has remained in intensive care.

Pinotte survived the fall, but has a long recovery ahead of her. I am in daily contact with her doctors and as of now her vet bill is 1500€ for testing and stabilization (this should, in theory, be covered by our pet insurance - which maxes out at 1800€ for the year). Unfortunately though she will also need multiple surgeries to address her fractured pelvis, femur, and ankle, and will need a minimum of one week in the animal hospital intensive care unit. The initial cost for this will be 6000€ - and another 2500€ if the ankle surgery needs revising afterward. Not to mention she will require weekly check ins at the vet and physiotherapy to keep motion in her rear legs.

I am going to do everything that I can to make sure she has as full of a recovery as possible, but due to the very shocking and unexpected nature of her accident, I am asking for some financial support to ensure she has the best chance possible at a full recovery. ANY amount will help with these very unexpected costs, I am grateful already for all of the support and kind words we have received so far.
