I'm reaching out with a very heavy heart.

My sweet dog Pinot has been diagnosed with a large cancerous mass in her stomach that’s causing internal bleeding. Without treatment—most likely surgery and chemotherapy—her doctors estimate she only has 1–2 months to live. I am absolutely devastated but holding onto hope.

Pinot is only 8 years old. She is full of life—happy, curious, and endlessly loving. I want to give her every chance to live a longer, healthy, and pain-free life. She’s already undergone a few procedures and spent multiple days in the hospital, and the bills are piling up quickly.

With that said, the surgery (an addtional $23,000, not including the chemo) is not guaranteed to work and also will be very traumatic. If I decide to not do the surgery I will move forward with all non-evasive options to give her the best quality of life for her final days.

I’ve never asked my community for financial help before, but I’m humbly reaching out now. If you’re able to contribute to her care, I would be forever grateful. Truly, any amount helps. Every dollar brings us closer to more time with my sweet girl.
