Pinky came into our lives when she was just five months old, and from the very beginning, our family fell completely in love with her. She is the most loving and affectionate dog, with a gentle soul and a deep love for people and other dogs alike. Pinky is well known in our neighborhood because she insists on greeting everyone she meets. Even at 14 years old, she has remained active and in great shape, always a happy, healthy presence in our lives.
Sadly, Pinky was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. The cost of her chemotherapy treatment has been overwhelming and has created a significant financial burden for our family. Unfortunately, Pinky’s lymphoma diagnosis came just three days before her insurance coverage waiting period ended, resulting in no coverage for her treatment. Pinky currently receives weekly chemotherapy treatments. As time has gone on, her initial medication has become less effective, and her oncologist believes a new treatment may help continue managing her illness and keep her comfortable. Unfortunately, this new chemo is nearly twice the cost of the previous one, making her ongoing care even more challenging for us.
Every cent raised will go directly toward Pinky’s chemotherapy, medications, and the frequent veterinary and oncology checkups she requires. Pinky has been a loving, gentle, and constant presence in our family for her entire life, and watching her face this diagnosis has been heartbreaking. To everyone who takes a moment to read Pinky’s story, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Any support you are able to give—whether through a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping Pinky in your thoughts—means more to us than we can express. With your kindness, we hope to continue her treatment and surround her with the comfort, love, and care she deserves for as long as possible. We are endlessly grateful to everyone who helps us give back even a small part of the love Pinky has so freely given us.
