We’re Pinkshift, a punk rock band from Baltimore. We’ve been on our first tour in Europe for almost 5 weeks now. By the skin off our teeth, we’re making it happen - without a crew, and most days without food until dinner. The shows have been incredible, energizing, and worth every ounce of blood sweat and debt it took to make it happen.

Yesterday we were loading out for our next show, and realized a crucial piece of our gear was missing. After exploring all possible avenues, we have unfortunately had to assume it has been stolen. This is a devastating loss, as we already have taken on thousands of dollars in projected debt just to do this tour.

Although we have thrown many fundraisers for mutual aid, local organizations, etc, we have always been able to manage our own expenses and losses. We have never fundraised for our own losses, but with the debt that we have already projected for this tour, we simply don’t have the resources between us to replace this gear on our own. One of us put our whole savings into it, and it’s a devastating blow that it is just gone without explanation.

If you feel that this band has impacted you in any way, or that our art has reached you, thank you. We are already forever indebted to you for witnessing us and taking part in our world. We understand that there are so many causes to support in this time, and it feels strange to ask for support when the world is burning. However we feel that there is strength in asking for help from our community when we need it most, and the exchange of love and resources within our community is everything.
