Help Ping Stay in Canada Where She Calls Home

️Hi beloved friends, chosen family, and conscious community,

My name is Ping, and for the past 9 years, I’ve poured my heart and soul into co-creating healing spaces in Vancouver, offering yoga, retreats, transformational journey integration, shadow work, and trauma-informed support. Many of you know me as a guide, a space holder, and a passionate advocate for deep inner work. Vancouver has been my soul’s home, and this community has been my sanctuary.

But behind the scenes, I’ve been fighting a quiet and brutal battle with Canada’s immigration system. And now, I need your help.

My Journey So Far

I came to Canada to pursue my second degree—not for prestige, but because it was the only legal path to a work permit. I invested all my family's savings into tuition, I worked my a$$ off, graduated with honors, and was ready to build a life here... only to have the doors slam shut again and again.

Then COVID hit. I was stranded in the U.S. with no healthcare, and became severely ill following the vaccine. I nearly died. I lost my ability to work for over a year. I received no disability support. Finally, after a year and a half of emotional prison and disability, I returned to Canada to try again, but the tech market collapsed, and I fell through every crack in the system. Each time I got close to securing permanent residency, the requirements changed.

And in a moment of heartbreak, I gave up. I sold everything, said goodbye to everyone I loved, and moved back to Thailand last year. But leaving made it crystal clear: this isn’t just where I live. This is where my soul belongs.

It’s not just about being part of any healing community. It has to be here. The people, the land, the sacred connections I've made—this place awakened my soul’s purpose.

I realized I didn’t survive three decades of trauma, countless ego deaths, heartbreaks, and chronic illnesses just to be pushed out of the only place that’s ever felt like home.

It was my soul's journey and purpose to find a home here.

This isn’t just my chosen home. This is where I will die. This is where I’m meant to serve. This is where I belong.

Why I’m Asking for Help

Right now, I have the opportunity to apply for a new work permit, which could eventually lead to permanent residency—but the legal, application, and travel costs are heavy.

I’m seeking to raise $5,000 to cover:

  • Immigration lawyer & legal consultation fees
  • LMIA or employer compliance costs
  • Government processing fees
  • Travel and re-entry expenses
  • Basic survival support while waiting for approval

✨ If I’ve Ever Touched Your Life…

If I’ve ever held space for your healing, made you feel seen, or helped you come home to yourself...

Even $5, $10, or a share can ripple. Your support isn’t just financial—it’s a message that what I’ve offered here matters.

Help me stay, and I will keep showing up with everything I have.

With deepest gratitude,
Ping
