Help Pineapple Pete Get a New Sign to Serve Healthy Food

Pineapple Pete is local business owner in the Fort Lauderdale area located at 1332 E Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334. He currently operates Pineapple Pete's, a health food store and restaurant, by himself despite having a brain tumor and other health complications. Years ago, Pete stopped taking intense chemical drugs prescribed to him in favor for more holistic and naturopathic remedies. By eating the right foods and other things found in nature, Pete has improved his condition dramatically and has never felt better despite being in his low 50s.

In order to promote his small business and provide more people with clean healthy food (the very same thing that he says saved his life), he decorated his business with signs and banners to draw in new customers. The neighboring McDonalds did not approve of this, and has since taking legislative action against him forcing him to take down all signs from his establishment. It is as if a large corporation is strong arming a small business and forcing the consumer to have a limit amount of options (allegedly).

We are seeking to raise $3500 for his new sign, which has already been approved by the city. Since Pete runs the place by himself, he cannot operate when dealing with legal matters that are enacted against him.
