Help Pineapple Overcome Medical Emergency

***Update: 5/16/2025 Pineapple was at the emergency vet for 12 hours yesterday. They did more X-rays under sedation and got a better image. They believe he is extremely constipated and doesn’t have a blockage. They gave him an enema and some pain meds to help relieve the pain when he does get to poop. We are now waiting and have called our regular vet to see where we go from here. No answers to why this is happening. Hopefully we will find out.

Help Save Pineapple – Emergency Surgery Needed

The newest addition to our family, Pineapple, came into our lives recently after we rescued him from a local animal rescue. He was part of a feral colony and has already had a tough start to life—but we were determined to give him the love and safety he deserves.

Shortly after bringing Pineapple home, we noticed he wasn’t acting like a normal, happy kitten. Concerned, we rushed him to the vet and were heartbroken to learn that he has a serious bowel obstruction that requires emergency surgery.

This was an unexpected and urgent medical situation, and while we are doing everything we can to care for him, the cost of emergency veterinary care is more than we anticipated. We’re asking for any help—big or small—to offset the cost of his treatment and give Pineapple the chance to grow up healthy and loved.
