Help Pilar's Family Rebuild After Tragedy

- Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I am setting up this go fund me for my aunt Pilar Montoya. On January 8th, 2025, at 2:50 am, her family of 9, which includes 7 children, had a truck crash into the home while they slept. The home was destroyed and it is unlivable. As of now they are living out of a hotel being paid out of their pocket, eventually the house insurance will reimburse them but for now it’s out of their pockets. Their home has had an inspection and it has been determined that the truck hit the house hard enough for it to damage the foundation of the home. So they will be without a home for a while. My cousin whose room was the closest to the crash lost all his belongings in the crash since there is no way to remove all the tiny pieces of glass from his clothing or shoes this was told by the insurance company. The insurance company from the car that hit the house will not cover anything as of this moment since 4 people died and 2 people were severely injured so they are at the bottom of the list of who the insurance company will pay which is totally understandable they other families should be placed first. My aunt’s children are also suffering from displacement and post traumatic stress disorder from the accident and having been uprooted from their home unexpectedly. What I’m hoping to get out of this go fund me is to try and help them recover from this tragedy so sharing helps any amount of donations help as well.
