Pikachu was dumped in a box at a park earlier this year alongside her brothers, Iverson and Taj.

Unfortunately, Pikachu has developed the same genetic patella (kneecap) condition as her brother Iverson, who has since undergone surgery and made a full recovery.

Pikachu hasn’t been so lucky yet.

For weeks, she’s been struggling with her mobility, spending most of her days lying down and sleeping. Her condition is more complicated than Iverson’s, and she’s now booked in for surgery next week.

I’m an independent cat rescuer caring for a large number of rescued, abandoned and medically vulnerable cats. With ongoing veterinary expenses and outstanding bills, I’m simply unable to cover another major surgery on my own.

This GoFundMe is solely for Pikachu’s:

* Patella surgery

* Veterinary boarding during recovery

* Post-operative care until she’s medically cleared to come home

Every donation will go towards giving Pikachu the treatment and recovery care she needs.

Her brother Iverson has already shown us what a difference this surgery can make. I want Pikachu to have that same opportunity.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean so much. If you cannot donate, sharing her fundraiser would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for helping me give Pikachu a chance at a more comfortable future.
