Help Pihêsiw get a Service dog

Since the age of 5 I have been disabled. During my second heart surgery I had a Ischaemic Myelopathy, other wise known as a spinal chord infarction, a stroke in the spine. These strokes account for less than 2% of all strokes. At first I was told I would never walk again, but fortunately regained some feeling and usage of my legs. I spent the next 9 years in and out of rehabilitation, physio therapy and multiple surgeries. As I get older I get weaker, I deal with chronic muscular and skeletal pain, nerve pain and partial paralysis. I have PTSD as well. I use a cane but lately have been needing something for more me to live a more comfortable life to continue to be independent so I am fundraising money for a service dog. Unfortunately FNIHB nor the government has programs set in place to help cover these costs. A well trained service dog costs up to 30,000$. A mobility service dog assist in many tasks, a few to name would be stabilizing and bracing, alerting bystanders if I have fallen, bringing my wheelchair to me if I am unable, providing deep pressure therapy, warning me of people come up behind me and acting as a physical barrier between other people and I and many other tasks. All proceeds will be going to a service dog and funds for veterinary and daily costs of a service dog as they need the highest quality of care.
