Piggy has been my best friend since she was just 7 weeks old. She’s always been different from any other animal I’ve ever had—her personality is truly unique. Piggy is glued to my side day and night, and even when we’re sleeping, she makes sure to always be touching me. If I move away from her, she’ll scoot right back to close the gap. Her need to be close is so sweet and comforting.
Piggy has also become my little guardian. I have a few medical issues, including sleep apnea, and if I start having trouble breathing at night, she wakes me up with a gentle tug on my ear or covers my face in kisses until I respond. Then she cuddles right back into my arms. She loves riding with me, always sitting on my knee and left arm, especially when we’re headed to her favorite place—the park. She’s my best buddy and I love her dearly.
Recently, Piggy developed a severe mouth infection, and her vet says she needs emergency surgery to remove all her teeth. Unfortunately, her insurance won’t cover dental procedures, and I am on disability with no way to cover the cost of her surgery. Without help, Piggy will suffer terribly and could die. Please, if you can, help me give Piggy the care she needs. She means the world to me, and I would be so grateful for any support you can offer.
