Piedmont Mountain Bike Team is a sports club located in Piedmont, CA, associated with Piedmont Unified School District. Our club is made up of a High School Race Team and a Middle School Devo Team.  The High School Team races in the Norcal league, competing with other High Schools all around Northern California. 

As a club sport, the Piedmont Mountain Bike Team must independently raise the money needed to support the team’s equipment needs and other associated expenses. In a year that has been marked by limitations on almost every typical activity for our students, biking has been one of the few exceptions. Our team has grown over the past few years from five riders to over 50, and our racers have earned podium spots as well as qualification in the state championship. With your help, we will continue to help give more local boys and girls the chance to experience the thrill of mountain biking and the joys of racing as a team.

This year we are aiming to raise $3000 to go towards a trailer to transport our pit equipment to races. The total cost for a trailer is $6000, and we have planned to raise that amount over two years, however if we can do it one year, even better. The trailer will be dedicated to our fellow Piedmont Coach, Lynden McLaughlan, who passed unexpectedly in 2019 and was much loved by all.
