Hi, my name is Sam. I have quite a few pets who fill my heart, one of which is Pickles, my bearded dragon. Pickles was free due to her deformed tail. When I got her, she fit on my thumb, and a year and a half later, she has grown up and barely fits on my hand. Female beardies lay infertile eggs just like a chicken, but this process is very hard on their body and can occur 2-6 times a year. It takes about a month to fully pass the eggs and requires very intense care, such as multiple syringe feedings and baths a day, to keep her healthy during that time frame.

At the end of the day, it isn’t safe for her to keep passing eggs, so I am reaching out to friends and family and this community to help me raise money to get her fixed. She’s an exotic reptile, so this service costs way more than I could have ever imagined ($3,000), and as a single-income pet mom of 8, I can’t afford this!
