This commitment has shaped every aspect of our culture. It’s why we collaborate so deeply as a team, why we invest in ongoing learning, and why we have always refused to let insurance companies dictate the quality of care our patients receive.

A Quiet Promise We’ve Honored for Decades

As many of you know, Medicare and UnitedHealthcare reimburse physical therapy at rates far below the actual cost of delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Rather than reducing the time, attention, or expertise our patients receive, we made a different choice:

We absorbed the difference.

Over the past three decades, we have provided approximately $3,000,000 in subsidized care so that older adults, vulnerable individuals, and under-reimbursed patients could continue receiving the treatment they need — and deserve.

We never advertised this. We simply considered it part of our responsibility to the community we serve.

The Challenge We Now Face

The financial gap created by Medicare and UHC reimbursement has grown significantly in recent years. Despite careful management, efficient operations, and our team’s extraordinary dedication, the clinic is now absorbing losses at a level that is no longer sustainable without help.

Our mission has not changed.

Our values have not changed.

But the economics of healthcare have — dramatically.
