Double lung transplant recovery for Phyllis Harris

Donation protected
Edit: Phyllis is fully awake now but is often in a lot of pain and has problems sleeping because of her pain level and restlessness. Please continue to pray and donate, if you can.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. God is answering our prayers. Since my last update, we have been waiting for new information and test. However, we are now thanking God for a miracle and answers to our prayers. Yesterday, Candace asked Phyllis questions, and she shook her head to respond. She is aware of her surroundings and recognized Candace. She still has a fever, though, and the doctors have found an infection in her body but cannot determine its source. Please pray against the infection, as the strong antibiotics are not working. If Phyllis isn’t already on your prayer list at church, please add her. There is a long ways to go but there’s so much hope now. Thank you all again for your support!

She has received her new lungs. The newest update is, She’s in a great deal of pain And needs all the prayers she can get. It was so much when they tried to Wake her up They put her back on the vent. We are thankful to the Lord the lungs are working correctly. If you can donate anything for the coming months, it is greatly appreciated.

My stepmom, Phyllis Harris, has Pulmonary Fibrosis, to which there is no cure. There are two medications medically approved that she has tried, but the side effects are too much for her body to handle. The only hope is a double lung transplant to keep her alive. We recently see her disease has been progressing.

A transplant isn’t just a hospital stay, but the patient has to stay in an apartment or lodging close to the hospital for a minimum of four months.
As with any transplant, there will be a lot of costs for medical co-pays, travel, and costs for the patient's needs, and also for the caregiver taking care of the patient.

We would like to ask for donations to assist with these costs. If you aren’t able to donate any money, then we ask you to please share and pray for a successful transplant when the time comes.

If you would like to donate cash; all cash payments can be made at Nahunta Pawnshop 9716 Main Street south Nahunta ga 31553 or cash can be deposited into Phyllis Harris’s account at the The First bank.
