Help Phoenix & Arabeth Paint Again !

Prolific elder artist needs a little help ! ... Phoenix has devoted over fifty years to diligently creating Art (drawings, paintings, digital and mixed-media works, collages & more), plus exhibits, theater and circus designs and productions, music events, magic shows, tattoos and henna body art, books etc. He is an honored listee in Who's Who.

Please help Phoenix manifest an appropriate studio space in Santa Cruz area, to again be massively prolific in the Arts.

Since being flooded out of my spacious studio in Ukiah a few years ago and relocating to Santa Cruz again, my lifelong collection of remaining original works, works-in-progress, archival and research files & books, tools, art supplies, materials, etc. have been languishing — squished into multiple storage units & largely inaccessible for any sustainable work.

Also multiple recent medical challenges have exhausted my financial resources. Hence radically constrained income prospects make it a challenge just to keep up with storage fees, leaving very little for living expenses and no savings to apply to renting a studio that will accommodate my stored fixtures and materials AND provide a fully functional studio facility again.

This has become extremely frustrating for an artist who has tirelessly created thousands of works in diverse media for over 50 years.

The enhanced functionality of having an appropriate studio again will provide immediate additional income prospects & revenue streams.

Years are slipping by with an extremely diminished creative capacity, NOT from a lack of creative juice, ideas or will, but simply for lack of a stable physical space to practice the full range of my skills in the Arts. Though I have focused mostly on doing research and writing projects in the interim, I do feel creatively VERY frustrated.

A recent shocking and significant, though fortunately minor in impact, medical emergency (a mini-stroke after 2 previous bouts of Covid) alerted me to the impending mortal limits of this life, which I have long managed to ignore. I am fully recovered and healthy again ... however ... This event has lit a fire of desire to complete many unfinished paintings and projects, produce a flurry of new works, and prepare to wrap up this long repeating voyage around the sun with grace and skill in the coming years. Having a viable new studio space will make that possible ! Please help me manifest this space.
