Help Phoenix and Friends Save More Cats
Donation protected
Running a cat rescue isn’t just a passion—it’s a promise. A promise to never turn our backs on the injured, the starving, the forgotten. At Phoenix and Friends, that promise has come at a cost—one we can no longer carry alone.
Over the past year, we’ve helped dozens of cats through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), emergency medical care, bottle feeding, and fostering. Many of the cats who couldn’t be adopted due to age, illness, or trauma now live safely with us in our own home, which we’ve opened as a sanctuary space.
But the harsh truth is: the vet bills, supply costs, and intake emergencies have piled up. Right now, we’re facing over $6,000 in debt—all personally shouldered to keep the rescue going.
Because of this, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to close intake indefinitely until we can get back on stable ground. It’s the last thing we want—but we can’t continue to take in more cats without risking the care of those already depending on us.
Your donation will go toward:
• Paying down outstanding vet bills
• Catching up on credit card charges used for urgent care, food, and litter
• Keeping our current fosters and sanctuary cats safe, fed, and warm
• Giving us a path to reopen intake and help more cats in need
We know times are tough. But even $5 can make a difference. If you’ve followed our rescue stories, if you’ve ever thought, “I wish I could do more to help animals”—this is your moment.
From the bottom of our hearts (and paws), thank you for believing in our mission.
Love,
Phoenix and Friends
