My kitten Phoebe is the most loving companion I could have ever hoped for. When I found her about six months ago, she was very sick with an upper respiratory infection and two eye infections. We have already spent many hours and thousands of dollars at the vet for her severe eye infection, which resulted in the removal of her left eye. Through the entire process, she has been the most patient and sweet kitten, cuddling with everyone she meets and bringing joy to everyone around her. She loves playing with her older kitty siblings and makes everyone immediately fall in love with her.

Recently, Phoebe was diagnosed with a rare congenital condition called a portosystemic shunt. Her vet recommends a CT scan, surgery, and years of medications to give her a chance at a healthy life. Unfortunately, she has already begun to show signs of brain injury from the toxins building up in her body that her liver cannot remove. We have started to see a specialist in San Jose who does not expect her to live much more than a year without this procedure.

With these funds, Phoebe will have a chance to live a full life. I cannot even begin to explain how much any contribution would mean to us. This procedure is the only chance I have to keep my sweet girl, and I am so incredibly grateful to have any support.
