On December 8th, I adopted two kittens from Kuwait, originally named Luna and Shadow, who are now Marie and Phineas. They quickly became part of my family, bringing so much joy and love into my home. Sadly, just days after arriving, Phineas began showing signs of illness. At first, the vet thought it was a simple upper respiratory infection, but after several visits and tests, we learned that Phineas has parvo—a disease that is extremely deadly in kittens.


Phineas is now on day two of his fight for survival. He’s receiving intensive inpatient care at the vet, and while his prognosis is guarded, he’s showing incredible strength and sweetness through it all. The medical bills are already significant, and he will likely need to stay at the hospital for several more days to have a chance at recovery.
