My cousin Melissa is a phenomenal woman who does everything for everyone she can, with all she has. Her family now needs us to help. Anything would be so greatly appreciated as they fight right now.
here are her own words:
I'm making a post that I normally would not make. I've never been one to let anyone in or let them know what's going on. However, I've gotten to a point where I can no longer do it all by myself. Admitting that is my biggest hurdle.
Many of you have asked...why I have started a business making my Forever Sweets. Well here's the short answer...followed by a bit more of an explanation. I am using my creativity I was blessed with to help my boyfriend Phillip pay for his ongoing cancer treatments and monthly bills. He has not been able to work much at all this year, so I came up with something to create that I could be successful with and thanks to everyone who has supported me I have put 100% of the profit from Forever Sweets towards whatever he needs.
Background details...The love of my life, the one I was meant to be with forever, the one who completes my heart, my adventure buddy for life Phillip was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer at the beginning of this year. He has had multiple surgeries, complications, hospitalizations, and treatments to battle his fight against the dreaded thing no one ever wants to deal with, CANCER. His faith has been tested more than anyone's ever should be. I have watched him get beat down physically, emotionally, and financially. He has remained positive and has fought as hard as he could along the way even with all of these obstacles. Well last week something bigger happened. Phillip was let go from his job due to the fact that his body will not allow him to work on cars safely. He has been a mechanic his whole life and due to the cancer, treatments and surgeries he can no longer perform his job. With that being said he no longer has health insurance. The one thing he needs to conquer his battle with cancer. I honestly don't know how we are going to get through this. My side business was helping to cover some of the bills but with no insurance it seems impossible. If anyone has any suggestions please message me. I just don't think its fair for an employer to let someone go who is under medical care for cancer treatments. Thank you all for reading and please send prayers our way...we need them❤️
