Help Phillip Herr Compete in Robotics

Thank you for taking the time to read this information. For the academic year 2024-2025, we hope to have another excellent year of learning, building, and competing again for Unirex-5817 - the Sanger, California robotics team. My son Phillip Herr is a part of this team. Together, we've committed to a goal of fundraising $1,000. Note that the parent Booster team has an overall goal of fundraising $35,000.

Even though the school will cover the costs of building the robot, the school does not cover food, travel, lodging, and other competition-related expenses. It is very costly to attend competitions locally, especially for long-distance trips, for roughly 40 students.

Phillip's birthday is coming up on October 3, 2024. He wishes to fundraise $500 using GoFundMe as an avenue since we have many friends and families far away who can help. All your donations to this account will go toward Robotics team Unirex-5817.

To reach our goal of $1,000, we will also host a garage sale on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Follow me on Facebook for more updates on this sales event, as we will have so many incredible things, old and new, and decorative items perfect for the holiday season.

Phillip is a junior attending Sanger West High School in Fresno, California. He is involved in many extra-curricular activities, including music, fishing club, and robotics. He is currently ranked #1 in his class as far as academic performance (GPA). Phillip is enrolled in all Honors and AP courses and plans to pursue a specialty in engineering when he goes to the university. Robotics take up a lot of his time, but he loves it. In his downtime, he likes to refurbish old guitars, practice playing guitars in his room, and read books. If you come to our garage sale in Fresno if you are local, you can meet Phillip, who will be running the sales event.
