Phillip is a proud American with a huge heart, always ready to help others when he can. Since his cancer diagnosis in September 2023, his life has changed dramatically. After losing two toes to surgery and starting immunotherapy, he developed diabetes, which has made his medical needs even more complicated and expensive. When his Medicaid was canceled in March 2025, the financial burden became overwhelming. Now, Phillip is struggling to pay for his cancer treatments, insulin, and daily living expenses. He’s even worried about losing his home and being forced to live in his car with his beloved dog, Scout.

Phillip has always been fiercely independent, but this disease has taken a toll on both his body and spirit. He spends most days in pain, isolated, and stressed about how he’ll afford his next doctor’s appointment or even basic groceries. The mounting bills and uncertainty have made it hard for him to stay positive, and I’ve seen him become more withdrawn and anxious. Despite everything, he still cares deeply for Scout and does his best to provide for his loyal companion.

This fundraiser is about giving Phillip a chance to breathe again. With your support, he’ll be able to keep up with his medical bills, afford the medications and supplies he needs, and cover everyday essentials like food and gas. Most importantly, it will give him hope—hope that he won’t have to live in his car, that he can keep Scout healthy, and that he can start enjoying life again.
