Nine years ago, Phillip’s daughter, Brie, bravely fought and defeated brain cancer. Unfortunately, a new tumor has recently been discovered, and it is growing rapidly. Due to its location and blood flow, the tumor is not operable. Brie, who is a loving wife to Matthew Escalante and mother of two young children, has started radiation treatment, which will be followed by chemotherapy, and will be staying in Houston to receive the necessary care.

Her family is doing everything they can to support her during this difficult time. Some family members will be driving back and forth to be with her, while others will stay with her children. The constant travel, staying in Houston, and the toll of the treatments have forced Brie to quit her job.
