Our family has recently faced an unimaginable loss—my father, a remarkable single father, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46. He was the cornerstone of our family, a devoted dad to my younger siblings, ages 11 and 13, and he always extended a helping hand to those in need. 

My dad had a unique ability to brighten every room with his warmth and generosity. Whether it was lending support to a neighbor or simply being there to listen, he was a constant source of strength for others. Now, I am reaching out to honor his legacy by seeking your help to support my siblings during this challenging time. 

With his sudden passing, our family is facing new financial uncertainties. My goal is to ensure my siblings have the stability and opportunities they deserve as they navigate life without their father. The funds raised through this campaign will go toward: 

 - **Funeral Services**: Covering the costs associated with honoring my father's life and providing him with a respectful farewell. 

- **Education and Tutoring**: Assisting with school-related expenses, extracurricular activities, and tutoring to help them stay on track academically.

We come to you today with a heart so heavy it feels like it might shatter, yet clinging to a fragile thread of hope that refuses to break. My best friend, Phillip, my brother in all but blood—is fighting a battle that no one should ever have to face. As a 46 year old father of three, with two younger pre-teen children, he has always been a pillar of strength and love for his family. 

 For the past 3 weeks, he’s been tethered to a hospital bed in the ICU, his body fragile but his spirit unyielding, as doctors work tirelessly to save him from the grip of severe heart failure.

 

Today, they placed an Impella device in his chest, a desperate lifeline to help his weary heart pump blood, to buy him time, to strengthen him and his other organs for the next surgery that looms just two weeks away—a surgery that could mean everything. 

 The road ahead is a dark and treacherous one. Soon, Phillip will need an LVAD—a Left Ventricular Assist Device—a mechanical miracle to keep his heart beating while he waits, praying for a donor heart that might one day give him a second chance at life. Every step of this journey is a storm of pain, fear, and uncertainty, not just for him, but for his kids and Allie. Not only is this journey an emotional one but there’s the crushing weight of the financial burden—Phillip, self-employed, will have to shut down his business, his livelihood, for the 6-8 weeks of grueling recovery that demand constant care. How does a man who’s always provided for his family face a world where he can’t? 

 Then there’s Allie, who wakes up in the morning and takes the kids to and from school, works and manages the household daily while squeezing in time to go see Phillip. 

I close my eyes and see his children’s faces, they need their father and he needs us.! I’m begging you, from the depths of my soul, to help us lift him up when he’s too weak to stand.

 As a devoted father, he has always put his children first, and now it’s our turn to support him in his time of need. By coming together, we can help alleviate some of the financial stress him and Allie will face, including daily expenses, and the cost of care for his children during this difficult period.
