Help Phill Heal and Rebuild for His Family

My name is Phill, and I’m reaching out with humility and hope as I face a critical turning point in my life. For years, I’ve poured my energy into building—whether it’s crafting props for performance groups, constructing stages, or creating memories with my family. But after emergency spinal surgery for a severe disc herniation, my world changed. The pain and nerve compression that followed have made even the simplest actions, like squatting to feed the cats, a gamble. Every day is a test of patience and endurance, and my ability to work, move, and provide for my family has been deeply affected.
Through it all, my wife Jessica and our kids, Peyton and Astrid, have been my unwavering support. Jessica is my warrior, always by my side, never giving up on me. Peyton, now taller than me, is quick to help when he sees me struggle, and Astrid brings comfort and hugs, just like her mom. They are my stronghold and my reason to keep fighting. I want to be there for them, pain-free and present, able to keep building and teaching as I always have.
I’ve just begun a promising regenerative treatment at Spinatomy in Ontario, CA—decompression and ultrasonic stem cell therapy. It’s a non-surgical, non-insurance path that gives me hope for a real recovery. I chose this route because I want to avoid a future filled with medication or another surgery that could mean permanent hardware in my back. The treatment is a marathon, not a sprint, and I’m committed to seeing it through. I’ve already taken a leap of faith by starting therapy, but I need help to cover the costs, including:
General Treatment - $15,650
MRI scan - $350
Travel - $2,000
Despite my challenges, I remain active in my community as a Cub Scout Cubmaster and through my prop-building business. Giving back to Scouts is my way of completing the circle—passing on the skills, friendship, and heart that I once received. My work with performance groups and families keeps me connected and allows me to support my family while sharing my unique expertise. This treatment is my second chance—not just to heal, but to continue serving others, inspire those facing similar struggles, and show my kids the power of resilience. If you’re able to support, share, or send encouragement, it would mean the world to us. Thank you for having my back.
