Philk loses possessions and dog, Patti, in fire

If you've been over to our flat in the past 10 years, you either know Kate or you have met her. We had a great run with her here in SF, but she decided to move to Oakland recently and get her own place a few blocks from her boyfriend, Philk's house .
On March 28th she was on her way to pick up their dog Patti from Philk's. Patti had been alone in the house for about three hours while they were working. As she pulled up to the house she found the aftermath of a full blown fire. Every possession Philk owned was burned and covering the sidewalk. The roof and front of the house were gone. The fire department was gone. Nobody was around to answer any questions.
She stood outside screaming for the dog before going inside to search. Kate quickly found her underneath a blanket. Unfortunately, Patti didn’t make it. I'm sure you can imagine the heartbreak.
While Patti is the most important loss here, Philk also lost every single photo, piece of clothing and his entire bike workshop including his collection of custom vintage bikes, and tools. He lost everything. They are still waiting on the fire report and have no idea how it could’ve started.
Their hearts our broken and nothing will replace the one thing they truly cared about, but helping rebuild Philks life is something they can do. He is a very selfless, giving man and has been a massive cornerstone in Kate's life. Any contribution including a supportive message would be very appreciated.
