UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 7th, 2026

Philip's surgery was a success! The biopsy of the growth was benign! He is still battling the terrible infection which was at the root of the problem. He was given antibiotics and he will need another visit to the vet soon. We thank everyone who contributed and are continuing to work on covering his expenses!

PHILLIP THE NEIGHBORHOOD CAT

Philip is a neighborhood cat who has been a familiar face in the Sunnyside neighborhood for years. Many of us in the community have looked out for him, making sure he has food and a bit of comfort after he was abandoned by his owner back in 2015. Philip has become a symbol of resilience and hope for all of us, and his gentle nature has touched the hearts of many.

Recently, several neighbors noticed that Philip was limping, and we grew concerned for his well-being. After a visit to the vet, we learned that he has a mass in his foot that requires immediate attention. My neighbor generously covered the initial vet bills, but the costs have quickly added up and become overwhelming. Despite these challenges, our community is determined to give Philip the care he needs and deserves.

All funds raised will go directly toward Philip’s vet bills, medications, and the effort to find him a loving, foster home.
