Help Philip Catch Up on Bills After Medical Job Loss

Hi, my name is Philip Jean-Pierre, and I am asking for support during a difficult period in my life.

Last year, I was diagnosed with Stage IV kidney disease and placed on

dialysis, that along with other medical conditions added serious strain to my health and day-to-day. Because of that diagnosis, I went on short-term disability for six months. During that time, I focused on recovery and stayed as financially stable as I could.

After I returned to work late last year, I was hit with another major setback. I developed another infection connected to complications from kidney disease, and it became serious enough that I had to be hospitalized for three months. As a result and factors beyond my control, I lost my job in February.

Now, I have completely recovered from that hospitalization, but the financial damage has been hard to recover from. Between the six-month disability period, the later hospitalization, and the job loss, I burned through the savings I had. I have been actively trying to find work, but I have not been able to secure employment quickly enough to catch up on my bills.

I tried to muscle through this and handle it on my own. I did not want to ask for help. But I realize now that I cannot get through this alone.

I am behind on essential bills and need support to stabilize while I continue looking for work. Any funds raised will go toward overdue bills, basic living expenses, and helping me get back on solid ground.
