Hi, my name is Aniya Flowers, I’m 16 years old and a junior at Central High School in Philadelphia PA. I applied and was accepted into the 2025 summer study abroad program in Paris, France with CIEE. I’m so grateful and excited for this opportunity! I’m very passionate about

learning the French language and culture, currently, I’m taking IB French 3 and plan to continue learning throughout college.

International travel is so important to broadening your perspective and mindset. I feel this opportunity will help me do this perfectly. With this program I will be able to immerse within the language and culture. I will also learn different perspectives by interacting with French people.

With this program I can expand my language skills by taking these studies and staying with a French family. I can also properly represent my family, city, and school.

But this amazing program isn’t free, there’s a large tuition of $7,650 in addition to the flight costs. Though I’ve been graciously awarded a $1,912 scholarship that leaves $5,737 for tuition not including the flight. No donation is too small, all contributions will be greatly appreciated. I’m so thankful for your generosity.
