Help Philadelphia For Haiti Rescue Haiti

Tax deductible

Hi Everyone, on behalf of Philadelphia For Haiti, we would like to thank everyone for their small act of kindness for continuing support of Haiti.

As you may have known, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit the south of Haiti, Saturday August 14th, 2021. This natural disaster for the second time is hurting us into pieces. According to CNN, the earthquake struck at 8:30 a.m. about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) deep, with its epicenter about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) northeast of Saint-Louis-du-Sud in the southwest part of the country. The location was about 96 kilometers (60 miles) west of the disastrous 7.0-magnitude earthquake in 2010 that killed an estimated 220,000 to 300,000 people.

The area that was effected the most was the south of Haiti. We are planning our logistics to travel to Haiti at the beginning of October, March, September and December . We are looking to bring 12 volunteers such as: nurses, construction workers, and other people to help out on the ground in any way that we can that will be best for Haiti. Also purchase food so we can provide food distribution for those in need.

A lot of lives were loss due to this tragic tragedy, but your support will be so beneficial to our group so we can get down to Haiti and hit the ground working.

We will follow all CDC guidelines prior to our trip and returning back to the states.

The budget for this trip is $40,000:

1) Airfare: Round-trip for 6 days 5 nights

2) Transportation

3) Lodging and Meal Expenses

4)Miscellaneous

5) Emergency expenses

Thank you so much for supporting Philadelphia For Haiti.

Remember: There is still hope for Haiti, There is still a future for Haiti, Whatever it is that we can do, we are going to do it for our people. Because they DESERVE IT!
