In September my Dad, Phil Buckingham, underwent surgery to remove a large mass on his colon, they also ended up removing 20 inches of colon and several lymph nodes. The biopsy revealed Stage 3 colon cancer and he was told he would need 12 rounds of chemotherapy over a 6 month time period. So far he has completed 4 rounds of chemo, with each one making him feel a bit sicker. He had to miss nearly two months of work to recover from surgery and misses work during his treatment weeks because the chemo makes him feel sick and because of the travel to and from the treatment facility. Besides losing income during this time because of lost work hours his insurance does not pay the full cost of chemotherapy, so there is more money going out each month and less coming in. My hopes is some of this burden can be alleviated for him and he can worry less about money and more about healing and getting healthy and strong again! Any amount is appreciated and prayers are priceless! If you can not donate please at least share. Thank you so much!
