Earlier this week, my sweet Phil started coughing, and it quickly became clear that something was seriously wrong. He wasn’t himself—he stopped sleeping, eating, and drinking normally, and I knew he needed urgent care. After rushing him to the ER vet, Phil underwent multiple procedures and was monitored in oxygen in the ICU. The veterinarians discovered that one of his lungs had thickening and mucus blocking parts, and it had collapsed. It was heartbreaking to see him struggle, but I am determined to do everything I can to help him recover.
