It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share our loss of a dear friend,  Phil Montalbano. One week ago, at the young age of 74, he lost his battle with COVID-19. Although he fought long and hard, his weakened body could not sustain the fight. Phil was not only a dear friend to my entire family, but he was a loving father, grandfather, friend to many and most importantly, an amazing husband to his beautiful wife, Annette. For quite some time, his wife has been struggling with her own health issues. Her battle with cancer is something they fought together. Phil always put Annette’s needs before his own. He always made sure she got to every doctor appointment, she had her medications and most importantly, he made sure she was happy and felt loved. Phil was so full of happiness and joy. One would never believe some of the challenges he had faced in his lifetime. Tragically, Phil lost his daughter at a young age. Despite all these hardships he was a very positive man and made the best out of life. He always shared his positivity and happiness with the people around him. Phil will be greatly missed by many and certainly never forgotten. Our goal is to help Phil’s widow with some unexpected expenses.
