Help Phil Hurley "Stay Gold

Hi, friends.

My name is Phil Hurley and many of you will recognize me as a life-long musician. I have played and recorded with groups like Gigolo Aunts, Tracy Bonham. Fountains of Wayne, Lisa Lobe, Stonehoney, South Austin Moonlighters, Jimmy LaFave, and many more.

In the past few years, I have been giving my full attention to growing my own name. I have performed hundreds of shows both with my band and solo. I have released three solo records of acoustic and electric music, all featuring songs that I have written.

My last Ep "The Firebird Sessions" ended up spending over three months on the national Americana charts and was added by over 100 radio stations.

I have a new EP that is ready for release called "Stay Gold".

I recorded, performed, and produced it myself. Though I am honored to have had it mixed by the legendary producer/engineer Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies, Hole, Lemonheads, and so many more)

The most important lesson that I learned from my last release is that now that we musicians can make the records ourselves, it's the promotion surrounding the actual release that will make or break it.

Radio support, press support, streaming services. These are the most important and now, the most expensive part of putting out new music successfully.

That is where I need your help.

I've written the songs, recorded the band, and gotten the artwork together.

But now I need the funds to set up this release properly.

I would love to hire the radio and press company Powderfinger from Boston, MA that I used on my last EP. They did a great job of getting me picked up as an independent artist on many reputable radio stations. And got me some great press from magazines and music blogs.

I'd like to be able to afford some very specific promotions for Spotify.

Right now, most listeners are getting their music from streaming services like Spotify more than ever. This is where I can reach the largest, new audience.
