Help Phil & Barbara Bentley During Their Time of Need

Hello Fellow Peers, Family and Friends of Phil Bentley,

Salutations, my name is Mandy Morrow; some of you may know me as the girl that lends Phil & Barbara a hand at their business, “Bakersfield Copy & Mailing”, at the Haberfelde or maybe from the myriad of years I have worked for them when they owned AB Dick/IPS on 18th Street.

Thank you for your time and attention in this matter; it means the world to me to find others to join me in my campaign to give back and help two amazing, kind, caring, generous and genuine people of our community, Phil and Barbara Bentley,

For some time now, Phil and Barbara have been going though some of the most difficult and trying times anyone could endure in life; medical and personal hardships are something we all could be subject to during our lifetime. Some of you may be informed to this or have noticed ongoing tribulations they are currently facing, and some of you are just now hearing of this . Phil and Barbara have never been the type of people to make others concerned or wish to cause worry about their personal struggles; maybe because they always were the people who wanted to help and be of service to all, and never ones to hinder. However, I greatly feel it is now our turn to return that help; and I have decided to create a GoFundMe Page to do just that!

Here is why:

As of the past several months, Phil has developed acute medical conditions; these conditions have required VERY invasive treatments to be administered; to the point where he has to have treatments almost daily and he has become so very ill and weak that he often isn't able to fully do anything he was use to doing; and that includes his beloved golfing. As anyone could imagine, this has greatly monopolized both Phil and Barbara's time and ability to effectively keep up with their daily tasks and commitment to their shared business. Phil's on-going medical issues have greatly affected their business and personal matters; most of all their finances overall. I believe this has now become critically important of attention and it will need to be with our support and gift of donations collected to help them take some of the burden from their already stressful and overwhelming situation they are in. Unfortunately, I am unable to fulfill this need of aid alone by myself. I need your help in order to fulfill their urgent need of support, and allow them both to focus on what is most important....Phil's Health!!

With this being said, I decided to quietly campaign (Shhhhhhhhhh! They have no idea I am doing this and hope to keep it that way, so please don't say anything to them directly, as it has been difficult for me to get them to accept even the smallest of offers of help) and find a way to raise these funds to gift to them during their time of need. If any two people are deserving of our help, it is these two!!! Many of us know Phil and Barbara have gone on and above for so many people in our community or beyond; they have cared for us and were always supportive in many instances during the many years they have both been apart of our community and it now has become our turn to act! So I am asking for your assistance by joining me so we can help them NOW. I am going to set this goal to be raised high; as I don't have an accurate amount which I know for certain, but my hopes and belief are - whatever we can raise, could only benefit them to the fullest degree. Once we raise a sizable amount, I plan to present this page and the funding to them directly as our gift to them! Every $1 will count and nothing is too small to give. Please join me and let’s show them both we are here for them and we love them both!
