Help Phia Light the Way to Cornell

Hi there! I’m Phia, a 13‑year‑old freshman at Golden High School, and I’m so excited to share my passions and goals with you. This year, you’ll find me cheering on our JV squad, spiking volleyballs in morning practice, and stepping into new roles on the theatre stage—all while pouring my heart (and my candle wax!) into my very own candle business. Every candle I sell brings me one step closer to my dream of attending Cornell University to study psychology.

When I’m not juggling school and sports, you can catch me playing piano, taking hip‑hop dance classes, or sketching and painting whatever inspires me that day. Art and performance fuel my creativity, and running my candle business has taught me so much about entrepreneurship and responsibility.
