Hi friends! It’s me, Phaedra. I’m looking to raise funds to support me with 3 gender-affirming surgeries that I am planning for 2025! (Wahoo!!)

Here's a schedule for when I'm getting each of these surgeries:

I’m fortunate to live in a state, Colorado, that requires insurance providers to cover gender-affirming surgeries. However, there’s still going to be a lot of costs to pay out of pocket, as well as around 6-8 weeks total that I won’t be able to work. Additionally, I'm looking to get these surgeries done as quickly as possible (this year), given the declining state of trans healthcare nationwide.

Here’s a breakdown of my goals, and why I’m asking for so much support:

Unfortunately, finishing grad school (with massive student loans) and working as a mental health therapist/counselor for other LGBTQ+ folks has not been very financially lucrative, and I’m not in the financial position I once was to afford this on my own. Getting this full amount would be absolutely incredible, but even an amount to cover my out-of-pocket and time off work would go a long way to helping.

Additionally, another way to support (especially for my graphic design friends) is to encourage the companies you work for to buy my fonts here ; 100% of those proceeds will go to supporting me!
