I am Michelle Stovall, a friend of Dawns’. My family recently went through a tough cancer battle for which we received so much help. I watched my husband shed tears following acts of kindness we received. I felt helpless and hopeless, but those acts are what kept me going as a caregiver. I made a promise to myself and God that I would never forget these gestures and would seek opportunities to turn my pain into purpose and pay it forward to other families battling this cruel disease. So, I am honored to try and help Peyton and Dawn, as they continue Peyton’s battle with cancer. Peyton has been unable to work secondary to the extent of her cancer, affecting her spine. Dawn is giving up her second job to be more available for Peyton and her four small children. It all goes without saying - no one wants to ask for help. But they need our help.
