Petunia (nicknamed Tuna) is a 5-year-old mini pot belly pig owned by a friend of mine, Jessica Ann. She also adopted Alfie who quickly become Petunia's best friend. They were potty trained and slept on dog beds in Jessica Ann's house, these were her pets.

Unfortunately, there are evil people in this world and somebody shot both Alfie and Petunia while they were hanging out on Jessica Ann's property (part of it backs up to a dirt road).

These pigs cannot be mistaken for hogs, and they are surrounded by private property. This was an act of hate against innocent animals. Jessica Ann has reached out to live 5 and continues to look for different ways to spread awareness to catch whoever did this.

Alfie, unfortunately, did not make it but Petunia is holding on. She needs surgery estimated at $12,000 to save her life. Jessica Ann is dipping into her savings and has also reached out to pet helpers for a possible grant that will cover part of the surgery.

Every little bit counts, even if it's just a $1!! Please help Petunia.
