Help Petra Pay for Victor's Funeral Expenses

My name is Araceli, and I am starting this gofund me page to support my good friend Petra Quirarte, and her family. Those of you that know Petra, her husband Victor, and their children; Giovanni Victor Jr. Jonathan, and Yanelli, already know what a kind, generous and humble family they are. Whenever someone needs any type of support, they are among the first to step up and help. Unfortunately, this past March, their family received devastating news. Victor, Petra’s husband, was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which has already spread to other parts of his body. Victor is currently receiving medical care to fight his cancer, and he is currently no longer able to work. Petra is his primary care giver, and provides care day and night. Although his medical insurance covers part of the cost of his treatments, they have many added expenses as a result of this illness. They have expensive copayments to pay after every hospital stay, medication copayments, and added expenses from countless, frequent doctors’ appointments while he receives his treatment. All of the donations received will be given to Petra and her family, to help during this difficult time.

Those of you that have loved ones with cancer already know how difficult this illness is physically, mentally and emotionally, not just for the patient, but for the family as well. I want to do what I can to take the added financial stress away. I ask that you please consider donating to this loving family, who has already done so much for so many. Aquellos ustedes que conocen a Petra, su esposo Víctor y sus hijos; Giovanni Victor Jr. Jonathan y Yanelli, ya saben lo amable, generosa y humilde familia que son. Siempre que alguien necesita algún tipo de apoyo, ellos son de los primeros en dar un paso al frente y ayudar. Desafortunadamente, en marzo pasado, su familia recibió noticias devastadoras. Víctor, el esposo de Petra, fue diagnosticado inesperadamente con cáncer de colon en etapa 4, que ya se ha extendido a otras partes de su cuerpo. Víctor está recibiendo atención médica para combatir su cáncer y actualmente ya no puede trabajar. Petra es su principal cuidadora y la atiende día y noche. Aunque su seguro médico cubre parte del costo de sus tratamientos, ellos tienen muchos gastos adicionales a consecuencia de esta enfermedad. Tienen costosos copagos que pagar después de cada estadía en el hospital, copagos de medicamentos y gastos adicionales de innumerables y frecuentes citas médicas mientras recibe su tratamiento. Todas las donaciones recibidas serán entregadas a Petra y su familia, para ayudar durante este momento difícil.
